On October 4, 2023, in keeping with tradition, the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies celebrated Information Society Day by officially opening a modern and high-tech study hall designed to assist students, doctoral students, and the academic staff during lectures, practical exercises, and various scientific events and forums.
The newly inaugurated study hall is named “National Security” and was established as a result of the successful work of ULSIT researchers, who have been studying various aspects of security and defence in alignment with the National Scientific Program “Security and Defence” for over a year.
The study hall aligns with the goals of the program to provide a secure and favorable environment for conducting fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of security and defence. It will offer enhanced opportunities for knowledge assessment and high-quality education for students enrolled in bachelor’s, master‘s, and doctoral programs at the university.
