Abstract:

As an academic field of study, the study of leadership is of interest to scholars from multiple fields of science. At first glance, traditionally independent fields with strictly defined and very different objects and goals are coming together to make progress in the study of leadership – sociology, psychology, philosophy, management, military affairs, and each can contribute its scientific toolkit to more – the complete overview of the phenomenon. Such an approach arguably allows scholars and practitioners to think complexly and radically about leadership and prevents situations in which the phenomenon is viewed fragmentarily and shallowly, one-sidedly, and without understanding.
