Abstract:
The textbook is designed to support the educational process and the preparation of students studying the course “Strategic Intelligence, Diplomacy and Analysis” at the Bachelor's and Master's degree levels within the Department of National Security at the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (ULSIT).
The publication provides fundamental knowledge in the fields of intelligence, diplomacy, and analysis for those interested not only in their historical development but also in contemporary trends in these areas. It aims to encourage readers' critical thinking and analytical skills and to guide them towards understanding the nature and significance of the theoretical concepts examined and the practices analysed in the development of the modern world.
The textbook presents various propositions supporting the natural interrelationship between the concepts of intelligence, diplomacy, and analysis. These are examined as a synthesised, indivisible whole encompassing ideas and political, economic, military, and social practices, which are not only of interest but also possess scientific and pedagogical value.
