FOR (un)SUCCESS OF THE NATION AND WHETHER NATIONAL DOCTRINE AND STRATEGY ARE GUARANTEE FOR CONTRY’s PROSPERITY

The monograph examines the development of the modern state and the challenges of strategic planning in the context of dynamic international relations and profound societal changes. The analysis focuses on the relationships between statehood, national identity, sovereignty, national interests, and national power as a foundation for defining Bulgaria's long-term objectives.

Using a systemic and comparative approach, the author explores the theoretical foundations of the state and critically analyses Bulgarian practices in developing strategic documents. A key contribution of the work is the proposed model for developing and formulating a national strategy and subordinate sectoral strategies, linking the objectives of state development to available resources, the security environment, and the well-being of citizens.
