Abstract:
The textbook Concepts and Models of the Security Environment. Strategy and Doctrine – Foundations for State Success examines the theoretical and practical aspects of the security environment, strategic planning, and the importance of strategies and doctrines for effective governance and sustainable state development.
The study covers the main concepts and models used to analyse the security environment, the organization of strategic planning, management and decision-making mechanisms, and approaches to strategy development. Particular attention is given to the relationship between national security, public governance, and strategic documents defining the main directions of security and defence policies.
The textbook combines theoretical foundations with an analytical approach to contemporary national and international security challenges. The concepts and models discussed contribute to understanding strategic management processes and the role of doctrines and strategies in shaping national policies.
